http://www.nypost.com/seven/01102007/sports/jets/team_on_the_rise_jets_mark_cannizzaro.htm We all get carried away with the Jets season 10-6, playoffs, but we did beat a lot of bad teams and got somewhat exposed by good teams. BUT the above article gives a fair assessment of the team, and to do what we did with this team was amazing, like many of you said we really do not do anything good (special teams, exception). We beat the teams we should have beat, thats step one (I know the Browns and the Bill, but this is the NFL, u never know). We showed we can compete with good teams. This offseason we improve on what we have, get some of those C's to B's and guess what, now we can beat *some* of those good teams, not all. Its a progression, we just have to be patient and let the FO build a SB team. I just hope becuase of this season people are not expecting SB next year, your just going to get your heart broken, again.
We certainly need to upgrade our talent to get this far again next year. We're not sneaking up on anyone anymore. Let's see what comes up. Just End The Super Bowl so we can get to the offseason!
