Tuesday is the big day. God of War 3 is finally here. the final chapter for kratos(so they say). GoW is one of my top 3 favorite series of all time(the other 2 are the metal gear games and final fantasy series), pretty excited for this. who is picking this bad boy up? anyone going to the gamestop midnight opening? monday night im going to the devils-bruins game so by the time i get home will be around 10 30ish so i think i may run over to the mall to pick it up at midnight
Cannot wait to pick this sucker up. For my own sanity, I will probably wait until i finish with FF XIII, but once I do I will be off to Gamestop to pick it up. It looks amazing, and from the reviews, it appears like its going to be even more badass than its predecessors.

if you plan on playing this one then i recommend playing the first two or you will be lost with the story. God of war collections is a pretty good investment. 30 bucks and you get the first to games with extras

just picked up my pre order copy. was going to go to the midnight opener at gamestop but went to the devils game monday night and got hammered so there was no way i was making it there lol. i really want to play but i want to finish final fantasy first so i think im going to hold out for a little bit
I haven't played the first one since the week it came out, and never finished the second one. So I picked up the GoW Collection a few days ago. Beat the first one in one sitting and will probably burn through the second one as soon as I have time. The story is so fucking good. I can't wait to move on to #3 already.
Loved the 1st 2 games on PS2 but I've switched over to Xbox 360. Between this game, Uncharted 2, and MLB the Show I'm actually quite tempted to finally pick up a PS3 (though I'm a little strapped for cash at the moment).
if your ready to make a full switch you can trade in your xbox and game towards a ps3 and i think there doing like an extra 30 bucks or something like that now. mlb is great like always and uncharted 2 might be one of the greatest games iv ever played. would recommend playing uncharted 1 also. i have a few buddies who went from xbox to ps3 and love it. always here it that way. dont hear to often ppl going from ps3 to xbox. like iv mentioned before i own both and never play my xbox
early on in the PS3s life, people were all about the xbox, but now that they have both been out for a reasonable amount of time, and the PS3 has released a good number of quality games, I see no reason to go to the 360 at all anymore. My little brother has one and I play 1 game on it when I am home for breaks from school, and thats the Last Remnant, its a solid RPG, nothing groundbreaking, but solid all the way around, and its a damn long game which I enjoy. But any other game he has on the 360 that I would ever wanna play i can get for the PS3.
I just finished GOW3 yesterday. I've played through all of the previous GOW games as well. I think gameplay and graphics wise this one is the best in the series. The opening part of the game is just fantastic. However, the story is not nearly as good as the other ones IMO.
Story is really horrible btw, the writer for the first two went on do other things.. and its easily noticeable...
even though i had it since the day it game out i havnt played it yet. it is a shame that for such a great series and for the finale they screw up the story. very bittersweet
I beat the game, and I have no idea what happened.. NOne.. I know I fought a bunch of bosses thats all I know..
