If the Giants were gonna fire Coughlin they should have cleaned house. All they are doing is replacing Coughlin with Mcadoo...I predict this will be a disaster and will be looking for a new GM and coach in a year or two. Joe Philban as OC and Spags as DC.
So silly. I guess they are pretty much punting next season in hopes of a big named coach coming on the market? I'll be shocked if McAdoo lasts more than one season there. Him and Reese will be gone after a 4-12 year next season. If Im Coughlin Im all over the Eagles job now.

Wow. I guess I'm in the minority here thinking this was actually a good signing. In this particular situation time restricts you from a 100% rebuild. Eli has had two of his best 3 years under mcadoo. He's 36 and is running out of time to learn an entire new system. If they wanted to do an entire rebuild it should have been Reese's head on the spike, not coughlins. What really shocks me about this entire thing is why the hell is he keeping SPAGS!!????!
Giants will have underwhelming coaches at best. i think Coughlin was waaaaaaay overrated, but they've managed to downgrade from him. love it!
I don't get it either. They're scapegating the past 3 shit seasons on Coughlin despite the horribly constructed roster, bad defense, lack of running game, and terrible misuse of the runningbacks they do have....Yet they're keeping everyone whom was apart of that.
