Cruz hasn't been the same since his last injury. He struggled to make the roster as a #3. I don't see a reason to bring him in.
Hell no. He's on the wrong side of 30 and has lost the juice in his legs. WR could be the only strength of our team.
No, nope, no thank you. Let him waste away on someone else's roster. No need to bring in damaged goods to take away snaps from the one position we actually some good young talent at.
Decker (if healthy) should be the only "older" receiver on this roster next year. I feel the exact same way about Harris on D. Some vets known to be consumate proffesionals to spread knowledge to a young and developing team.
Cruz is a shell of his pre-injury self. He may get picked up by a team that wants a veteran presence in the WR room, other than that, see no value to adding him.
I'll pass. cruz basically missed 3 years in a row rehabbing and last year he looked like a shell of his former self. I say we keep either decker or marshall (preferably decker due to age, attitude and salary) start enunwa again (he's earned it) play anderson in the slot. peaker at WR4 and jalin at WR5. smith can battle for a roster spot if healthy and we can always draft a WR too. I'd like to see what the young guys can do but keep decker around as a veteran presence. plus decker is out best red zone and 3rd down WR anyway
Wouldn't touch him w. a 10 foot pole.Giants seemingly tried everything to get him back on track...guy is damaged goods & no longer effective. He's not even good enough to be in the top 4 of our WR corps as it stands right now..next..
The Giants cut Cruz for cap reasons. If another team doesn't overpay him, he could easily re-sign with the Giants on a cheaper deal.
