This is an epic failure waiting to happen for both the JETS and the GIANTS. They wont openly admit to it until they are desperate to sell season ticket packages including the PSL fee. Im sure theres a marketing person coming up schemes and ways to sell those seats. Watch and see I predict they will sell 2 game packages to fans splitting the PSL fee amongst 4 buyers who will own rights to the seats for 2 games each season etc.

The fact that the Giants are 18,000 deep into their waiting list should be troubling news for the Jets...their wait list is not nearly as large as the NYG.

I would surmise the NYJ wait list has already been exhausted

I was forced to give-up my nice lower level end-zone seats for upper deck non-PSL seats. I worked up all the numbers for the first year (with financing) and the down payment plus my 2009 seats and then worked out the numbers for the first year, years 2 thru 5 and years 2 thru 15. I checked my numbers with the Jets Sales Office. I could not justify the extra tens of thousands it would cost me to go to Jets games. It's all very frustrating and a kick in the ass for my 25 years of season-ticket loyalty.

Agreed. Except the Jets screwed my family out of seniority, because the tickets transferred from my uncle to my dad in 96, and they don't consider that "direct family." So I'm now on the 35 in the lower deck row 22, and we're basically given the option of pay PSL or nothing. We're going to not renew our 12 seats. No way I can come up with 120k even for the cheapest PSL. So, goodbye Jets games, hello watching it on my 52" TV.

I have seats in Sec 228 for our Jets and they want PSL of $7500 but the real kicker is the $400/seat price because the entire mezz is now the Club. I really can't understand that anyone would spend that much per game for a ticket. My personal sales rep said they are selling really well. I can't believe that. I am moving upstairs.

Not even close. The NYG started selling their PSLs well in advance of the Jets.

I have had my seats in my name since 1992 and I am supposed to get my playbook today. (Been going since Shea days..but those tickets were never in my name).

It's a good bet that the Jets will exhaust their wait list...it just hasn't happened yet.

Wait listers have posted that they have been contacted which would indicate that the NYJ wait list has been exhausted

I joined the wait list 2 years ago and haven't been contacted, so they didn't get to the end of the list yet.

So the Jets have set up a Seniority system for Ticket distribution requests but have jumped some 20 years of season ticket holders to try and sell to the wait list ??

I know a bunch of wait list members and I have my wife's name and my son's name on the wait list....none of them have been contacted.

I doubt it will be possible due to the difference in our seniority date.

I guess U missed those wait list posters just like U missed the article on the stadium being built so that a dome can be added even though U had been following that so closley to use ur words
