Having sub-forums for these games is good. Separate threads is great. I had meant for the threads I created to be the game threads, but that's okay. I thought it was a good idea to have polls in every game thread in the future. Petrozza could do that for Jets games, too.
So apparently there's a rumor going around that it'll be a little chilly in Green Bay today. Anyone else hear anything about this?
I heard that its supposed to be below zero and that this somehow favors the Giants more than the packers... If anyone can explain how this helps the Giants more than the Packers, please inform me...
I'm torn on this game. On one hand I would like to see Favre in the Super Bowl but I have to give credit to Eli and the Giants for stepping up their game. Who ever wins, this game is going to be a dandy to watch.
I'm pulling for Favre and the Packers, but I see what you are getting at. Giants are really good on the road this season, but I don't think they can pull the upset in Lambeau.
emmitt smith on eli manning: "he's gotten his team into a position where if they win today, they have a chance to possibly make it to the Super Bowl and make an appearance there."
If the Giants win today and don't make the Super Bowl it will go down as one of the biggest chokes in NFL history.
This is fine. In the future, I think game threads would be great if they also included a poll. To do that, though, you have to start the game threads a couple days in advance of the games. It'd be hard to do it with Jets games, but I think we could do it with non-Jets games. That thread I made has 23 posts in it, so it would not have gotten too crazy by the time the game actually started and the thread really started to get action.
Wind chill 25-30 below, is it the Ice Bowl all over again? I think you have to look at it as who has a better chance to beat the Pats, and please, which team is that?
