It’s completely natural to regret doing something after you have been caught.

I still don't like him even after admitting he used steroids.

Should of been man enough to admit it when he held his press conference way back.

Giambi loses a little credibility here with me when he defends Bonds and his own accomplishments. I do agree with him though that MLB was complicit and looked the other way in regards to steroid use.

    He's saying something too late.

All the tip-toeing in his press conference? Back-stepping? It was a joke of a press conference...

    Admit it then.

At least he is saying something which cannot be said for the other players. He didn't have to say anything but he did. it doesn't change what he did, he deserves to be questioned for the rest of his career but at least he said something.

    I guess

But I still find it cowardly how he acted in his press conference.

The one from a couple of years ago? He COULDN'T admit anything that day b/c the Yanks were looking for ways to void his deal and that could have given them an escape clause. He did admit it w/o saying the words though, it was obvious what he was trying to say.

Bank 40 million bucks, and then become a stand up guy. Pinstripe pride at its finest.

At least we don't lead the majors in steroid related supensions throughout our system AND have an ex employee taken down in a huge stroid sting. I guess that's Met pride?
