    You can't make this stuff up. After waiting 22 games, broken jaw and losing his starter position, he now has a torn ACL. As horrible as it is that Geno tore his acl, it's probably just as bad that we as fans have to watch Fitz start again.

    Personally, I would start petty going forward. I don't care if we win another game this season, Fitz is a disgrace to this franchise

    The little respect I had for Francesa went out the door when he said Fitz gives the jets the best chance to win and he essentially applauded Fitzpatrick for calling Woody, Macc and Bowles out after they unconditionally backed him and pinned him as a starter right after we lost to the bills and also gave him 12 mil when no one else would even make an offer

    Yep, if the team was losing and the QB was average, I'd say that was unfair to Fitz. But he has been bad.

    good riddance. thank god ill never have to watch him again in a Jets uniform, he actually made me HATE the franchise I love for nearly 30 years, no other player has done that.

    Tough break for Geno but it's really not a big deal, he wasn't the future anyway. Play Fitz until we loose 7 or 8 games then start Petty for the rest of the season. Probably should have been the plan from the start.

    lol if Rex was still the coach Francesa would be calling for us to bench him and saying how it was a circus to call out the organization.

    And this idea you had to play Fitz by rote at 1-5 is nonsense...Vinny got pulled for Chad at 1-3 and Vinny had much more of a track record for the team

    Tough luck for Geno...I wish him well. As for the present moment we'll just have to roll with Fitz until Petty is ready. Hope we continue with this past Sunday's formula, which is ground and pound complimented by with some good defense. Basically smash mouth football and winning the turnover margin.

    Its laughable. Fitz overstayed his welcome, I would prefer never to see him take another snap for the jets ever again.

    Havent been a fan of Geno for a long time, but wanted to see him resurrect his career and its sad to see it come to this. Probs to Geno.

    His opinion is probably based on thinking Geno is garbage which I tend to agree with.

    If Geno did not have bad luck he would have no luck at all. Probably last game he will play in a Jets uniform.
