    @ZackBlatt

Garrett Wilson is one of only five WRs in NFL history to record at least 80 receptions, 1,000 yards and three TDs in each of his first two years The others: Ja’Marr Chase, Michael Thomas, Odell Beckham and Justin Jefferson. All of them only caught passes from one or two QBs. Wilson: Six. On Wilson, what he’s had to overcome — and what’s coming: https://nytimes.com/athletic/5544619/2024/06/07/garrett-wilsons-contract-situation-with-jets/?source=emp_shared_article…

    Yeah... he's pretty good. :p

Can't wait to see Rodgers slinging the ball to him.

Mark my word on this. When is all well and done, he might rank as the best Jet WR ever. Just give the dude a QB that can throw the rock and read defenses.

125 1300 and 10 is where I think he will fit this year. I don't think we see that 1500/1600+ season from him because I expect us to run the hell of the ball again and from what I remember, Rodgers always plays in a very slow tempo offense.

The statline above would put him at at:
    7.3 rec/game
    76 yards/game
    0.58 TDs/game

I love him but he should put on a little more weight. I think it will help extend his career

He is what he's going to be, his whole game is predicated on contorting his body and that insane spring step, if he starts throwing too much muscle on then he's not the same player. They need to use him like the player he is, instead of sending him across the middle with a pop gun QB throwing to him like dumbfuck Hackett was doing last season.

he’s another one that could use more beef. I thinking he should be Bolognese instead of Sauce

Anytime a corner is in off-coverage cover 3 or cover 4 Wilson should auto-check to a deep comeback to the sidelines. He (and Olave for that matter) run that route to perfection. I feel like I’ve seen in 5-6 times since he’s been here and it’s infuriating.

Just because his contested catch rate was low last year doesn't mean he's soft which would suggest he isn't capable of a better contested catch rate. Also not all contested catches are alike, a contested catch is probably much easier to catch from Arod than ZW.
Before you laugh at that sentiment guess who had the worst contested catch rate the year before? Corey Davis catching passes from guess who, that's 2 consecutive years with a player ZW was throwing to had the worst catch rate in the NFL but 2 different receivers. The year before that Randall Cobb (known for his contested catches lol not) had the seventh best catch rate with Davante Adams just behind, catching passes from guess who...
Stats absolutely do not tell the full story.

That's an interesting tactic. Make a statement, don't support it at all, then when someone disagrees, you tell them to provide video evidence why your unsupported statement is incorrect.

Color me curious to see how this one turns out.

    Wow...I thought I was a darksider...

If there's one guy that doesn't need a microscope, on this team, it's Wilson. Dayuuuummmm....

Why don’t you go support your statement with video for a WR that had 1000 yard every season with no QB.
