Where do you guys find the best places to watch game tape? I have been watching a lot on YouTube a lot and it's okay but definitely not great. It's usually from the TV camera so it's hard to judge WR's route running, DBs coverage, LBs coverage etc. I wanted to know where you guys watch most of your game tape (if you do) and preferably the best place to watch it for free.

Do you have NFL Network? The combine is coming up - you'll be able to watch a ton of drills for each and every position.

Yes I do and I'll definitely be watching as much as I can of the combine, what about more game tape though?

It's next to impossible for a regular fan to get game tape. To get hold of the stuff, you really need to work for a personnel department or be a coach or be a really good friend of a person who has such a job.

Yeah, it is hard to find entire games.

Highlight videos aren't great because they only show when the players are at their best, not what they are doing when the play is not around them.

I personally am not a big fan of the combine. It's good for coaches because they get to interview the prospects, get their exact weights/measurements. But fans/media put way too much into it. I could care less what a player does in a 3 cone drill, it's on the field that counts.

This is the thing that sometimes bothers me when people choose to share their opinions. Sharing opinions are great but when some people try to act as if there opinion is the last word to be etched in stone it becomes ridiculous.

The majority of us in here if not all are just fans. Unless we make this apart of our daily lives, all of our knowledge on these subjects are second hand.
    And that is okay.
But it would be nice for those who think they are getting some reward for this at the end to lighten up.

Don't they usually show parts of the combine on nfl.com?

    Lol

Can't we all just get along

If I understand you correctly, you would take Sanchez at 17 if he was available
    right?
Then I think we both at least understand the need for a QB.

Who are you saying needs to lighten up? The coaches and scouts who do not share game tape with the public?

They do not need to share that stuff with the public.

I don't quite get what you were trying to say with the above post.

    Not the coaches and scouts
They get paid for what they do
They have every right to get excited
Hey I would too if my job is affected by my performance

I'm talking about us the fans
Sometimes I think we get too wound up in our opinion and we forget that we have no control over anything.
We give our opinion, but that's about as far as it will go, so I think we have to make sure that we don't allow ourselves to get to caught up.
After all we are depending on someone else to usually tell us what is going on.

the people who think he is a complete
    jackass
    to lighten
    up.
    I don't
    Think
    most of them
    Will.

Honestly, at this draftboard most posters are easy going and aren't on an ego trip. If you post something "off the wall", you will be called on the carpet. There's only one poster I had issues with on this board with that kind of attitude and he got banned for a year, a couple of months ago. RaiderJoe is the only problem here currently and he's on my ignore list. A few poster s have a little edge at times, including your's truly, but that comes only when needed.

Best advice....it's an internet message board, were not splitting the atom.
