Joey Galloway (per ESPN) has been released by the Pats today. With Cotch and Smith banged up, we were forced to dress Woodhead at wideout. Would he not be worth a pickup, just for a veteran insurance policy?
I heard someplace that the Ravens were gonna sign him. Not sure why he'd sign with us at this point in his career..
Joey Galloway has been terrible for the Pats. I remember him dropping a few drive-killing passes against us in week 2. Pass.
Very true...He might be done. Just figuring he is a veteran receiver in somewhat of game shape, although he has been inactive the last few games. I would take Joey Galloway over Wallace Wright or Danny Woodhead though, no?
No. Galloway has been terrible this season, and we'd just end up making half of the fanbase cry if we sent Woodhead back to the PS to keep learning the position.
Meh, he is nowhere near as fast as he used to be, he dropped everything they threw to him in NE, and him and Brady could never get on the same page route-wise. I don't see how he could help the Jets at this point in his career.
Dan ny Woodhead is an unknown, but I would rather go with a young player with excellent physical skill that can build chemistry with a rookie QB than with an aging wideout who is dropping the ball a lot and slowing down.
I'd rather put Cotchery back in there along side Braylon. When those 2 get out there together great things will happen. We better sign BE, I think Kerry can keep him in check.
Yeah, I think Clowney will be better served in the slot. I'm still not seeing the kinds of moves/route running I'd like to out of him, but even running him on a straight release pulls a safety off of one of our wideouts and frees him up underneath.
Yeah, I think we as jet fans are still in store for some great things from this offense. Once we get Cotch back and Sanchez has all starting weapons healthy and on the same page, they could do some damage. As long as we don't give the opposing team so many extra opportunities I think this Saints stopping defense will be earning a nickname soon enough. I think Kris sees something special in this team, in my opinion that's why he's so eager to stay with the team even being injured and his driving force behind his rehabbing. But that could just be me reading too much into things, lol
