what do you all know about Ga Tech? I'm visiting some clients in Atlanta next month and we're going to a game. Anybody in particular I should know something about? Other than GA, who are their natural rivals? Any help appreciated, thanks.
Basically any ACC game will be a good game to go to. They run the triple option which is pretty exciting to watch if it's run right... Running Back Jonathan Dwyer, Safety Morgan Burnett and Defensive End Derrick Morgan are big time pro prospects.
Love me some GTech prospects. Dwyer is an animal, and Morgan could be a really good option for us as a 34 end with a little added weight.
Hell yea...he's around 275 as a junior. I'm pretty sure they are going to completely destroy Clemson tonight.
As long as they don't ask Nesbit to throw any more they'll be fine. Didn't realize they had Anthony Allen either, that's one hell of a 1-2 with him and Dwyer. I would have said Dwyer would have over 150 but I don't think his teammates are going to give him a chance. 14-0 and the best back in the country hasn't touched the ball yet? Not bad.
Actually, they are pretty decent. They won't win the ACC, but they'll more than likely win 8 games this season. They have a pretty solid defense, but they are really just a one man show on offense. CJ Spiller is really the only guy that is worth anything on that offense. Jacoby Ford is fast as hell, but he's got awful hands. They have an obvious hole at quarterback.
Georgia Tech is on another level. Clemson has holes on their offensive line, at quarterback, and at receiver. I can honestly see GT winning the ACC and playing in a BCS bowl.
Uh oh. Asked Nesbit to be a real QB, too bad he's miserable. Comeback is about to be upset city. Spiller's going to be a player in the NFL, not sure exactly what role it will be, but the man has some gifts. Also, if I were GT, I would ride Dwyer from here on out. He has just 13 touches so far, that number has to be 25 if they want to win this game.
All that really matters for Nesbitt is winning the game... He can win this game with his legs. I'm just afraid he's dug too deep of a hole with his arm.
DeMaryius Thomas is a gamer, I have a bad feeling that he's not the type to time really well though. If he comes out anyway he could be a very intriguing 2nd round guy. *Unless he's faster than it looks.
As much as I love the option, I wish we could see some of these guys play in a different style offense. Thomas looks like a baller. HUGE FG attempt here...aaaaand it's good. GT up 30-27 with :57 seconds left on the clock.
