Every game played @ Shea is Old Timers Day.

Yeah, that's how I feel about the Mets.

You know the old age jokes coming from a Yanks fan don't work. How many starters do the Yanks have under 30? One? The Mets 3 best players are under 30 with two of them under 25..

    from ESPN.com
Yankees Avg. Age: 29.3 (36 Players listed)
Mets Avg. Age: 30.0 (38 Players listed)

You continuously make fun of our "age problem" which really doesnt exist, yet with 2 more players added to the avg. age, we still only come out .7 ahead of your avg.

Time to concoct a new agrument you think? Maybe daddy can help you out.

The Yanks have WON something in the last decade, the Mets are old and haven't won. yeah they have a great 2some on the left side of the IF but very soon the Mets are going to need to overhaul around them and that could take time.

While that may be true, you don't see Mets fans making the same dumb age joke over & over. They are both old teams with alot of talent. Only difference is the Mets best players are under 30 while the Yanks best players are over 30.

If the Yanks were signing all these over 40 players you might see the jokes plus it is ST so there isn't alot of new material to throw around yet. we have some old guys but Franco is almost 50 and then your big signing this offeason was a 40+ player. It doesn't matter as long as you win but it gives you a small window to win.

But they have this decade, as bad as the Yanks have been the last few years no team has more league pennants or World Championships than the Yanks this decade.

If you go to ESPN.com and click on the Mets and Yankees' rosters you can see who they have listed. But i would be willing to bet that at the begining of the season, our 25 man roster would be younger than the Yankees roster.

I just think it is so sweet how the Met and Sox fans have joined forces against those big bad Yankees. The Sox championship is now the crutch the Met fans have,if not for that they don't have shit. And for the Sox,Jimmy fuckin Fallon and Drew Barrymore celebrated on your championship mound. Asterisk!! And that year only brought to light how pathertic that franchise is not having won a thing in 86 years. Good for you both.

    Win one you're lucky,win 2 you're good,win three you're the Yankees.
