Best Fans (Team): "Gang Green" ? The Jets fans win this award, and not so much for their performance on draft weekend?but more because of sheer numbers. There were roughly than three times as many Jets fans at Radio City than any other fan base. On top of that, their chants were powerful. Sure, there was the usual "J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!" stuff. But there was more. For the most part, they were really creative. After a back and forth with the Patriots fans, Gang Green Nation broke out a deafening "Aaron Boone, Aaron Boone" chant. After the Eagles fans tried mobilizing, the Jets crew answered with a "Terrell Owens, Terrell Owens". Good times all around. Worst Fans (Team): "Gang Green" ? For as creative as the Jets fans were this weekend, they were also a bit disappointing. First off, they didn't do their usual dramatic, depressed, over-reaction routine after any picks. No tears, no heads in hands, no boo's. Whether that's a testament to the new Jets GM and coach or not, this was bad news for football fans. We love the usual dramatic, depressed, over-reaction routine! The Jets fans were straddling on the lame side at times as well. After the Ferguson pick, several fans pointed to their heads ? as in saying "Smart Pick." That was weird. And as the Eagles faithful tried making some noise with a meager "Eagles, Eagles" chant in the first round, the Jets' base just tacked on the word "sucks" each time. That's the opposite of clever. To me, by far, the most hilarious thing was when KC was on the board and Herm appeared on the big screen. You could hardly hear the guy interviewing him, the Jets fans were so loud. All you could hear was booing and jeering.... cracked me up.
