Franchise Tag under new CBA

    Is there a limit to how many times it can be applied? I always thought it could be applied for however long a team wanted, but a falcon board is saying only 2 years now....which I dont' believe...

    So ABe gets a big payraise next year if we franchise him again?

    He can be franchised as much as they want to.

    However, on his 3rd straight franchise, he gets a 20% raise over the previous year, or the avg of the top 5 QBs, not DEs, whichever is higher.

    Isn't it the top 5 players, not QBs. Granted it is all semantics because the top 5 paid players are QBs, but I think the CBA reads top 5 players.
