the jets will not sign any meaningful free agents.the new regime is commited to the draft.the jets have been very secretive about signing free agents.for me it would be a blessing if they go with the draft.this year is a wash.so we must be patient and have confidence in the new regime.

The jets will sign some solid free agents; no one, big name - but a few good players to help us out now (i.e. Kitna)

This is exactly how championships are won. You don't win championships through free agency. You build through the draft, and add missing pieces to the puzzle through free agency. Just look at the redskins, free agency champs every year. However, when it comes to time to play the games, the over-priced free agents can't play like a team, and were most likely overrated to begin with.

Kind of gives you a feeling that even with trading Abe for another 1st the Jets may trade down for additional selections.

I think well sign some transition players...vets that we sign short term that we can immediately plug in to ease the transition to a 3-4. Players like Kimo von Oelhoffen, for example

It makes me crazy!!! The offseason is made longer by these "Jump the Gun" kind of characters. Mangini comes from the Bellichicken tree. What the hell do they expect him to be? The polar opposite?? Jesus. I like the way this CS/FO is handling the situation so far. They seem prepared.
