... are surprisingly similar. Most people can only comprehend the extremes of a position, whether it be a football opinion, a political opinion... or even an opinion about what toilet paper is best.

I know this will be sent to the BS forum if it isn't closed outright, but it's funny to watch people, mainly people uneducated about a subject, decide what needs to be done. And in this situation, I'm talking about football, but politics is relevant.

I'll speak to whatever random doofus has an opinion and it's always some extreme idea that:

    A) He ripped off from the radio or TV
    B) He really doesn't understand
    C) He is unable to debate

One-liner types of opinions that are meant to exact a reaction that he is unable to defend but all-too-willing to exact all the same.

Football and politics aren't that far off in terms of ignorance of the general public.

All you need is a media source and an endless supply of complete fucking morons. Doesn't matter what end of the spectrum that media source comes from, because they both prey on stupidity.

I think your description could be used to characterize virtually any topic of discourse that people feel passionately about. For one thing, the average person isn't particularly bright. Secondly, any subject matter that can't be entirely delineated by facts or numbers will eventually invoke an endless spectrum of varying opinions on the matter at hand, if given enough time.

You are way too cynical. Eventually Junc sets these morons straight.

Do I need a second line?

Yeah, one liners that just make reactionary statements with extreme positions irk me. It just seems so lazy. At least have the common courtesy to explain your position. I guess it's just the debater in me. I love a good debate, I don't mind putting in work.

maybe the OP should start his own website and govern it in the manner he sees fit.
