So who do you guys think should start? Glenn Foley - the guy we have groomed to start, and had that great 49er game, or Testaverde who has recently just gotten hot? Its a toughie

I'm not sure. Testaverde was supposed to be one of the greatest QBs ever, but so far has been a bust. Maybe it is because he played on very bad teams. Foley has a lot of potential, and had one great game. This one is close, but I'll go with Vinny because we have success with him, and if it ain't hurt don't fix it.

I'm assuming that this is a joke thread.

Nah Vinny sucks, if we stick with him we'll likely go 7-9

You can't fight with Foley's success last year man.

    Glenn gets the start, imo.

My crystal ball is telling me that Vinny is going to make some magic things happen in his time with the Jets, so we should start him. Maybe he'll help us beat those Dolphins in a MNF game...somehow...

I think if Vinny has a lot of weapons, he will be great. We have a great young O-Line, which includes an up and coming center, Kevin Mawae, and Jason Fabini, who has been a huge surprise. We absolutely stole Curtis Martin from the Pats, and I think he will have another great year (ran for over 1000 yards in each of his first few seasons). We have two Pro-Bowl caliber WRs in Keyshawn and Wayne, not to mention one of the best FBs in the game in Richie Anderson. I predict a huge year.

As for Foley I think he will be out of the league in a few years, I just don't see him as our long-term replacement.

I find it very ironic that Browning Nagle would start a thread asking who should start between Glenn foley and Vinny Testaverde..

I'm going with Vinny. Don't ask me why, but I've just got this feeling he can lead the team to a 12-4 record and the AFC Championship Game.

Gotta go with vinny, don't want to wait with foley who may end up making us start 0-2.

Hiss success came coming off the bench for o'Donnell, he never won a game he started. Start vinny and let Foley come off the bench if we need him.

Stay with Foley until injuries or interceptions force a change.

Once you go with Testaverde you've stoked the fires of a QB controversy and made it that much harder to pull him if you feel a change is needed.

Then again Parcells has never had a problem going back and forth when he feels like he has two guys that can get the job done and neither of them is currently blowing the league away. So, I'll defer to his wisdom in this matter.

TESTEVERDE brought us to the AFC championship and we lost but not b/c of him. He was awesome until he got injured...so sad
