OK, now after these first two successful weeks the media is starting to really pick up on the Jets, Sanchez, and the Defense. I think it became really evident when the trash talking between the two teams came about. What I was wondering is do you think that it would have been better to lay low and fly under the radar for these first two weeks? I mean, now I feel like other teams will be fearing us and will go through more extensive preparations when they play us. Its kind of hard to decide which would have been a better route in my mind because I think the trash talking got this team really pumped up.

we as fans have to get used to being successful. its the only way shit gets better.

I want teams to circle the Jets and go "shit, gotta bring my A game." Thats what i've wanted all along.

To trash talk and then not allow a TD is beyond backing it up, its just stating facts.

Keep your foot on their throat and watch them die until that clock hits 00:00 in the 4th quarter. Then smile. I don't want any other type of football.

This is such a bizarre thread. This team is getting noticed because through two weeks they have played like the best team in the league. There is nothing negative about that fact.

Would you rather they have lost a game or not played so well in these two games? It's not hard to decide which would be the best "route" The Jets have been dominant through two games, that is always the best route to take. The rest is just BS pussy fan mentality.

I like this response because it got me thinking: I feel like the Jets can still get the win even when the opposing team does bring their A game. Great feeling to have.

the Steelers have it, the Pats have it, the Cowboys, Giants, even the fucking dumbass Raiders have it.

Its the confidence in your football team. Its something that's been lacking in this franchise - the ability to believe that we make a difference. We made a difference today, and we need to continue to make a difference. We are a New York team, the #1 Market in the nation. Its time to carry that responsibility with the Giants and kick some ass.

Let's be as tough as those teams, as loud as those teams, as mean as them. And the perennial success will come.

You better believe that the Pats spent every possible minute preparing for the Jets. They have some of the best coaches in the game and their scheme and preparation still couldn't pull out a W.

It will fade with time. But its going to take more than half a september for it to happen. As long as we can be fans like there were at the stadium today and help this team at home we have a chance every week. And the fans have to believe that.
