I saw this young man as possibly cracking the top 15, until today. He tweeted that he was paid to play at Alabama, so what? What a dumb ass

If that's true it's going to change college athletics.

Alabama has been the #1 team for several years now. The team that preceded them as #1 for several years was USC. We know USC players were getting paid under the table. If Alabama players have also been getting paid then college football is no longer an amateur endeavor and there is no justification for colleges exploiting kids by pretending they are amateurs.

"Exploiting kids?" Please!!! They are given an education free of charge. SO few of them progress to the NFL that if they are smart, the education is far more valuable then the money they could get paid. Most of these exploited kids couldn't qualify for technical colleges if they weren't athletes. The Universities give them an opportunity for a better career and salary. There is nothing exploited about a college student athlete.

The vast majority of college recruits don't get a full education out of the deal. The graduation rate for even seniors drafted in the NFL is very low.

If this was really about athletes getting a chance to get a degree I'd agree with you to some extent, but it's not.

Ask any kid who went to school and got his scholarship yanked after a year or two because he wasn't the athlete they thought he was coming in the door.

i have always wondered how many of the so called star college athletes can afford the jewelery, cars, 300 dollar sneakers, etc etc - BEFORE they are under contract by an NFL team.

He wouldn't benefit from randomly releasing that information on twitter if it was true, all his past posts are mostly religious comments, very little on personal information, and all his past tweets had very good grammar/spelling. This recent post was poorly written. I'll assume he was hacked.

Moron, does think it will help his draft stock.

Fluker is good , but overrated in mid/ early Rd 1, great run blocker, terrible in pass protection....RT...that's all he'll every be.
