I don't create many threads here, but I literally stumbled on this & thought others would get at least a brief kick out if it. It's about the Rams and Namath's short stay there, but I think we can all probably relate to it here from one perspective or another. I like the analogy of Namath in 1977 to Favre. Namath in 1977 still had a better arm and quicker release than Favre. Like Favre he never stepped into his throws at the end. Unlike Favre, Namath was a cripple and had an excuse for not stepping into his throws.
