First time at metlife, and boy did i not enjoy it. There was an incredible amount of bills fans, I could see why but they were louder than the Jets fans. It also doesn't help that this was one of the worst games I have ever watched as a Jets fan (which is not too long but I was around for the Butt Fumble game). By the numbers, it was the worst, especially Geno's first couple drives. it was like a nightmare because it was interception after interception. I couldnt even blame the Buffalo fans for cheering. What pissed me off was that all the Bills fans would start J-E-T-S chants. and then would be like YOUR TEAM FUCKING SUCKS. then they would stupidly say HERE WE GO BUFFALO like they just made the playoffs. and the jets fans all just put our head down. there was really no communication with the jets fans, but the bills fans all seemed like they're a tight knit group. maybe because they sucked for long and for the first time they have a temporary winning record they're really happy about it. still it was embarrassing for this to happen in our own house. as we went back into the stands in the 4th, even jets fans were telling me to leave, a guy even told me to go play with myself instead of watching the Jets (this was actually kind of funny) we deserve hearing our team fucking sucks because we do fucking suck. I was pretty confident that the Jets would win today but I was wrong, and I am part of the reason why the Jets suck, overconfidence and believing in Rex + company's talk. no regrets that I went to the game but until something changes, I just don't feel like I would enjoy going to the games. fan energy is low, other fans are assholes, and we give them a reason to be assholes
Vent all you want, it's okay. Come over to the darkside. I've been a Jets fan for over 40 years and you would think I would be use to losing by now. I am pissed at everyone from the owner to the waterboy. I stated before the season I would not by one thing with Jets logo or name on it until Rex is gone, looks like that won't be too long of a wait. Might have to change it until Idzik is gone.
Do yourself a favor and keep your hard earned money in your pocket next time you even think about going to a Jets' home game in this era. Today should have been your wakeup call regarding this franchise. You went to a shared stadium and overpaid for an inferior product that is the result of piss poor management. Your contribution to the franchise's bottom line will be greatly appreciated by the Owner, the FO and the financial arm of the New York Jets Football Organization. Next time you want to go to a Jets home game in the near future, take that money, put it in a pile in front of you, get out some Kingsford lighter fluid and simply burn it. Much shorter drive home.
I didn't even get mad at the Bills fans. They've gone through 10 years of mostly failure, I kinda felt bad for them. Now if it were Patriots fans...
I picked the jets today in my knockout pool- like always I was figuring they are bound to have a spark And like always, The only spark was the one in the barrel of gasoline So I'm the number one idiot on this forum, not you OP
We are all idiots for beliving in this franchise,fans should get to vote for who they want there owner to be like a regular election every 4 years it would actually make a lot of sense
