this is my first mock......some comments by the picks explaining what we thinking(friend and I)...let me know what you think Texans: Take the Best player in the draft 1. Reggie Bush RB Saints: Take the best defensive player in the draft 2. Mario Williams DE Titans: can't pass on the Best QB 3. Matt Leinart QB Jets: not a flashy pick, but BPA filling a need 4. D'Brick Ferguson OT Packers: Need for defense and take the best LB 5. AJ Hawk LB 49ers go for defense over offense 6. Michael Huff DB Raiders take the chance on Young 7. Vince young QB Bills need a DT and opt for ngata 8. Haloti ngata DT Millen has to take defense... 9. jimmy williams Cardinals: Davis takes a big drop...too hard to predict trades, and the cards get a stud TE 10. Vernon Davis TE Rams: need for defense...signed witherspoon/glover...take a CB 11. Tye Hill CB Browns: possibly the best DT and the browns dont pass 12. Brodrick Bunkley DT Ravens: Look past cutler and take one of the best LBs...doesnt help the offense but keeps the defense younger 13. Ernie sims LB Eagles: Need some youth on the o-line 14. Winston justice OT Broncos: take the taller of the wrs in the weak class 15. Chad Jackson WR Dolphins: looking for a #2 wr 16. Santonio holmes WR Vikings: get stuck with cutler 17. Jay Cutler QB Dallas: take one of the LBs available 18. Chad Greenway LB Chargers: a reach, but they need something at corner 19. Antonio Cromartie CB Chiefs: Get their choice of DE's 20. Kamerion Wimbley DE Patriots: take DE/LB beast 21. Manny Lawson DE Broncos: maroney runs incredibly similar to Terrell Davis...a tough pick over Deangelo...Shanny tends to take size 22. Lawrence Maroney RB Bucs: need someone to block 23. Marcus McNeil OT Bengals: need something along the DLine 24. Tamba Hali DE Giants: take one of the LBs 25. Demeco Ryans LB Bears: just no need for defense/rb so i had to give them a TE 26. Leonard Pope TE Panthers: need a Safety 27. Donte Whitner S Jags: opt for the C 28. Nick Mangold C New York Jets....see the thing is i havent posted several times...even today saying he wouldnt drop this far, but i did this mock with a broncos fan...and this is what happened... 29. Deangelo Williams RB Colts need a RB 30. Lendale White RB Seahawks: lost hutchinson and replace him early 31. MAx Jean-Giles OG Steelers: tough to choose here...but adding youth to that o-line will only help 32. Eric Winston OT
DeAngelo Williams is someone I considered for the #4 pick, if we got him at #29, I would probably cry tears of joy.
Dont think that Cromartie will go that high, the chargers would probably pick either jon joseph or youboty with that pick over Cromartie
