My wife wants to get us tickets to the Jets/Jaguars game in November. I'm real excited. I've been a longtime Jets fan, but never had a chance to go to a game until now, so I wanted a little advice on where we should try to get tickets. I was going to go through Stubhub unless anybody has any better ideas. I was thinking about trying to get tickets at the lower level, but near midfield is a little pricey. I was thinking one of the sections near the 10-20 yd lines. My questions: -Is there a big difference between sitting on the Jets side vs. visitors side? Again, I've never been before, sorry for the dumb questions. I want to be amongst Jets fans, but I figured there wouldn't be a whole lot of other fans anywhere else anyway, but maybe there's a difference, I dont know. I want to be surrounded in green! -Would the 10 yd line be that much better than the endzone? Endzone's a lot cheaper. -Any other advice? -I doubt I'll be able to go back anytime soon, so this might be my one shot for a while. I'd like to get good seats, but not go too crazy. There are seats around either 10-20 yd line on the Jets side for around $110-$120 each on stubhub. That's in my price range, but if its that much better to get to the 30 yard line, I'd be willing to budge. Thanks for the help.
The Jets side has the sun. Only difference. There is a stadium of Jets fans. Sure you will be next to at least one. If you aren't going to be back for a while, get the better seat near the middle of the field. 10yard line is better than endzone, especially downstairs.
Thanks man, I didn't figure it was like college games where there were sections for visitors. I won't worry about which side I'm on and just go for closer to midfield. We're just going to get a hotel near the stadium, so won't need a parking pass. Any other pieces of advice/tidbits I need to know about the stadium, etc? What time does the stadium open for a 1 PM game? I read a thread on here about getting tickets at the game to save $$, but I'll be coming from out of town, so I'd rather pay a little more and know what I've got, where I'm sitting, or at least have some recourse if things go wrong. Plus, seems this game is a little cheaper because it isn't a big rivalry or division game. I've heard a few people complain about Stubhub, but they seem to be a little cheaper than Ticketmaster and there is recourse if the tix are invalid or the seller backs out. I'm going to shoot for the 20 yd line, saw one today for $116 on Stubhub. I'm still just excited to go. My wife knew David Garrard in college at ECU, so she'll get to see him too.
