Both LaFleur and he should be put on notice that if things don't get markedly quicker soon, they will be fired at the end of the season. The thing is, Saleh's not gonna fire one of his best friends in LaFleur. He might fire Benton, but that won't help now. Like with LaFleur, you fire him now, it's a horrible optic for the team, and no one worth a darn would accept the job even following the season.
laflauers play calling has been fine. and he's a rookie too, it'll get better. this year was always about growing and building a coaching staff that can have continuity. as well as developing rookies. we all knew we weren't going to be competitive.
