They must really not like the guy they took #5 overall 2 years ago.

they want to start winning. They got a good roster and just need a QB, good for them, bad for us

Jimmy G always finds a way to lose the big game.

Even if they get Jimmy G I doubt they get past the Bills. If the Jets finally have turned the corner and Wilson can develop into the QB we all hope then it will be the Jets challenging the Bills. I am not sold on Tua (apparently neither are the Fins) or Jones.

This is one of the reasons you don't fire a HC who has been successful unless you have no other choice. All of the guys they assembled for Brian Flores are now potential orphans in new systems and they've still got to get past two other teams to be relevant.

I get that there was friction between Flores and Tua but then worst case you pick one of them and stick and change the other and it looks like the Fins are changing both instead. How much could they have traded Tua for last year when everybody was mortgaging the future to get a questionable QB prospect?

Used to be a Jimmy G fan but now he could keep us from clawing at the AFC east

    Go Jets

If Wilson falls on his face this year I wouldn't mind seeing the Jets adding a veteran QB next off-season. If the roster pans out we could be a QB away from contention.

Well said. I wish Jimmy G was available next year instead of this year.

Upcoming season will be very telling about Zach. If he shows signs of improvement in the right direction, keep him. Otherwise I don't mind bringing in a guy like Jimmy G to compete for the starting job.

This is the last year of Jimmy G’s contract so there’s still a chance he’ll be available next year.

Don’t forget, our 2 current back-ups are a SB winner and one with a NFL HOF debut performance. On paper, that sounds pretty damn impressive, amiright?

On paper though right? :) Hearing Giants are eyeing Jimmy. At this point, I hope Zach kills it this season so we stop looking at vets. It has been so long.
