Got stuck with the #8 pick, but I think I did well enough from that spot. Standard scoring, PPR, 12 teams. Any thoughts? Not in love with Turner in the PPR, but it's tough to package him and move up to that next tier. QB-Tony Romo RB-Steven Jackson RB-Michael Turner WR-Brandon Marshall WR-Chad Ochocinco TE-Chris Cooley W/R-LeSean McCoy K-Matt Prater DEF-Dallas BN-BenRoethlisberger BN-Tim Hightower BN-Dez Bryant BN-Percy Harvin BN-Jerome Harrison BN-Jabar Gaffney
Really like this team. I'm not a big Ochocinco guy this year, and Marshall worries me a little bit, but in the 3rd round, you can't go wrong with him. Jackson and Turner as the backs is great in any format. Romo's a great QB. McCoy should be good in PPR. Even though Ignatius gives me shit for taking Harrison one pick ahead of his Hardesty in the Friars club league, he's a good pick, especially with Hardesty done. Hightower doesn't have great upside, but he's steady in a PPR league, he was great for me last year. Dez has big upside down the stretch. You don't even need Roethlisberger, but he's good trade bait later (or if Romo gets killed behind that line). Harvin is better in non-PPR, but without Rice, he's got some upside, and if the league counts return yards, he's an every week starter. Even Gaffney I like. Cooley obviously isn't a tier 1 tight end, and probably not a tier 2, but McNabb likes him. Very good team. Hopefully you should have some bait to make some trades to make it even better, as you're deep at RB.
I didn't give you shit for taking Harrison. I laughed because I couldn't decide which one to take and you made my choice easier. You also chose properly
Actually, I got him in the 4th. Romo was my third round pick, he was the last of the top 8 or so QBs left. I was amazed.
