I just watched some youtube vids of Keller, and I really am impressed.

I can't see a reason why he shouldn't have been looked at the same way Vernon Davis, Kellen Winslow and Jeremy Shocky were, and they were obviously picked much higher. He was picked in the range of Greg Olson, and Heath Miller, and there is no way he isn't head and shoulders better than those two.

He obviously isn't the blocker that some of these guys are, but we would certainly be better off with him blocking than any of our WR-- running a 2 TE set with him and Baker would be pretty nice to run, or pass from. Not to mention, when have they said that a top TE's blocking was actually good? It's always been questionable with the big time pass receiving TE's and they develop as they go on.

Let me know what you think-- maybe I'm wrong about something. 5 min of youtube isn't everything, but it impressed me!

If he was taller, he'd be a top 15 pick.

This comment pretty much destroyers any credibility you have when it comes to rating draft prospects.

With that said I really like the Keller pick, maybe we didn't need to trade up to get him but whatever, it's not that big of a deal, I look forward to seeing what he can do in the pros.

Yea i love the way this guy plays , Should be fun to see how he does in Green N White. Like that guy said if he was a couple Inches taller with that Speed he would be a top 10-15 pick no doubt.

Can you elaborate? Not that I feel the need to defend my scouting credibility, but jesus christ man. I said that I can't see a reason why he wouldn't be viewed the same way as those guys coming out of college. His production and combine numbers were better than or right in the ballpark with all of those guys. He isn't 6-5, but neither is Vernon Davis. His productivity was much better than Winslow too! Watch he guy's youtube, and then watch Vernon Davis-- tell me who has the better highlight reel.
