Read this and thought it was interesting.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...told-tomlinson-he-has-no-clue-if-hell-retire/

The article is about Favre's recruitment, or lack thereof, of LT to join the Vikings. He shockingly said he has no clue if he's coming back next year, but this is the part of the story that caught my attention:

And Werder also reports that Favre told Tomlinson, who ultimately chose to sign with the New York Jets, that both the Vikings and the Jets were good organizations where Tomlinson could have a good 2010 season.

I may be alone, but I still think it was pretty cool to be at a game and see Brett Favre playing for the Jets

At least Favre is consistent. Talk about a man of few words. 'No clue'. Sounds like him. Who knows? He might wake up and decide to make a run at the Bass Pro Tour. I wouldn't go to the Vikes under that pretense as well.

that's the sound of Favre raping Childress quietly in the night.

gotta give him credit, it was cool of him to give the jets a nice endorsement. he didnt have to do that and could have had LT be a viking and flip flopped on his career plans like he always does, but instead did the classy thing and was honest.

and you are not alone GQ, it was pretty cool to see him in Jet green, even if it didnt work out as planned.

I think Favre's constant honesty is his least admirable quality.

"Honesty" and "tact" are not mutually exclusive.

Fuck him, he threw us under the bus last year.

Telling an aging LT nice fluffy things about us is great and all but F EM.

Why doesn't he tell AP that too.

I wonder if this is Burt's way of sticking it to Childress... (either that or he didn't want to share the spotlight with LT) but it was a nice gesture on his part.

And yes as angry as I am with how things worked out the 1st QB my son ever saw throw a TD in person was Burt. He hit Coles against the Chargers on Monday Night.

Ellis would be the last person on the Jets i'd ever 'ass grab'. Jenkins is lookin at Favre like 'wtf is wrong with this old man he better watch himself around me' hahaha.

i used to hate Favre, but I now thank him. He helped get Mangini out the door, and get Rex, n Mark here.

I still think Brett Favre is da man. The guy didn't wanna be here its not like we signed him and he pulled a Farva and changed his mind after signing on the dotted line. He got traded for. Instead of acting like a whining bitch and refusing to play for us , which would of been worse, he played the year out for us and had some great moments like the Cardinals, Titans and Pats OT games. Sure he failed at the end, the man had a torn bicep muscle in his throwing arm. He is one tough son of a bitch.

I hold no ill will towards him he is a legend. My favorite player to watch in any sport.

I'm glad he said that about the Jets but honestly, what could he possibly say bad about the Jets? The organization treated him well when he was here

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking as I saw us lose to the Pats, Broncos and Dolphins with him as our QB. Totally not some of the worst games I've ever been to.

Looks like Favre might fall in...........LMAO and the look on Jenkins face is freakin priceless. I guess he might have realized he will have to pull Brett out by his ankles.

or, he's maybe quietly hinting to LT "you can sign with the Vikings, but I probably won't be here to play with you in 2010"

    just a thought...
