Just what the title reads. What's yours and who is it sung by? I'll start with Happy Holidays/The Holiday Season by Andy Williams. I love all the Rat Pack Christmas songs as well. That's what I grew up listening to
Don't know man. My twin bastards are 15.5. When they were in Elementary School I would always go to their Christmas Singalong. I first heard this there from elementary school kids and got hooked.
A Fairytale of New York. The only Christmas song you can listen to all year. Just a great song. Most Christmas songs are tosh. Greg Lake's I believe in Father Christmas is decent enough and I want an alien for Christmas by Fountains of Wayne is fun. There are a few other passable ones that I can tolerate seasonally too. The rest would pretty much be consigned to the toilet bowl of mediocrity and would never be given a second thought if they didn't mention one word that guarantees them being rolled out for a month every year. Flushed away with all the other shit. Apart from Last Christmas. There's a special circle of hell that's been created for those responsible for that piece of 80s dross.
I can't believe that no one has mentioned 'Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire' sung by Nat King Cole. Probably one of the most iconic Christmas songs ever.
Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 - Trans Siberian Orchestra Saw them roughly 15 years ago in Hartford. Amazing show.
