90% of them are fraudulent. I might be wrong on the threshold but I believe you only have to donate something like 10% of proceeds to qualify. That’s why I pretty much only donate to St. Jude’s and I’ve sent a couple bucks to Tunnel2Towers after researching them.
St. Jude's gets my dollars... my niece does a lot of solicitation for them... so Uncle Acad is on their mailing list...
