the jets are too low in the draft to get who they want, this year reminds me of the draft we missed out on Dunta Robinson who became a fenominal corner. This year we may miss out on Mario Williams who possibly has All-Star potential.

kinda like we "missed out" on ed reed who we let slide, kinda like how we "missed out" on emmit smith who we skipped over, kinda like how we "missed out" on dan marino....please, Tom Brady was a 6th rd pick, amongst dozens and dozens of other impact and pro-bowl players that were not selected in the first round.... we just need to draft smart, not draft earlier, there are always players that slip (Aaron Rodgers to pick 24) ....you can't say we won't get a pro-bowler if we don't grab williams, come on...and how do you know exactly who we want? you would say that if we had the 1st pick in the draft...."how come we are a draft late with having the first pick?" it doesn't stop.

30 teams are going to miss out on Mario and all 30 would love to have him. How do you know the FO is targeting someone else? Maybe they crave D'Brick, or Hawk, or Davis.

Picking at 4 is a great spot to be in this draft.

In that same draft we picked Jonathan Vilma, who won Defensive Rookie of the year, and was a Pro Bowl alternate the following year after leading the league in tackles. Oh boy, what a catastrophe!

Years from now it won't be us looking back and saying, 'Damn, we should have gone with Robinson at 12!' it'll be the Texans looking back and saying, 'Damn, we shoulda picked Vilma at 11!'

I find it hard to complain about the Toon pick. It was just unfortunate he had the concussions. I loved KOB but Walton's reasoning for not drafting Marino was moronic at best

Are you kiddin me what are you smokin. We got Vilma that draft whos 20 times better at linebacker then robinson is at corner and hes a pro bowler. Theres no regrets about not havin the chance to get robinson. Vilma was well worth it.

As time goes by you will see that JV is NOT a MLB that will lead us to a SB. He is both to small & not strong enough. Leading the league in tackles 6 or more yards d/field is not something to brag about at least IMHO.

btwm we are in the most perfect spot in this draft. Every player that falls to our spot is number one overall quality. and we dont have to pay them close to as much

chances are the first 4 picks will be bush, young, leinart, mario or DBrick. In any other draft, any of these guys would be a number one overall.

i hate when people say number 4 is terrible. This is the perfect place to be and im sure other GMs would kill to be here except for the fact that they have to make a decision that will make or break the franchise

There is not an All-star game. There is a pro bowl.

Calm down at 4 overall we will get a playmaker.

Dude, ease up on starting all these threads. Just because a thought pops into your head doesn't mean it should be a new thread. You have several others that are so similar to this one you can just post in them as easy. Just a thought.

This year is different because either Brick or Mario will be there and all of them will shine in the NFL; they are once a decade athletes.
