Anyone watching this? It's amusing to see how the crowd will cheer when someone says that Barry has never tested positive, but then also cheer when someone says it shouldn't matter whether he does steroids or not. Yet they all got pissed off when one of the panelists pointed the finger at them for not caring because even though he's a cheater, he's their cheater.
im watching this.. lack of better things to do. I love the fans vote on espn.com.. an overwhelming majority of people believe he did steriods, and the same overwhelming majority feel he should be in the hall of fame.. Does cheating even matter anymore in this society? As much as I hate bonds, he was a HOFer before his "alleged" use, and he still is now...and if the allegations are true that over 40% of players during this era used them, its a level playing field. That being said, bonds could very well be the biggest scumbag in all of sports.
Nope. Because as we've heard a few times already now, people just want to be entertained. Sad. I agree he was a HoFer, but not anymore, IMO. 40% cheaters is not a level playing field. It means 6 of every 10 guys are getting screwed.
Yeah, it wasn't all that great. The first half hour, maybe 45 minutes was decent, but the rest was bleh. That one point when Dusty Baker took offense to the generalization that managers knew what was going on was great. He looked like he was ready to get up and start kicking ass.
Bonds did do steroids. And he still should be in the hall of fame because chances are we're inducting other steroid users that we never knew about into the hall as well. Plus, his numbers arent borderline, his numbers are almost the standard.
