C'mon. We all know ESPN favors the Patsies & Sox but I'm watching today and looking at the rundown to see what's coming up then all of a sudden I see the Pats stuff comin up.

    WOW. are you serious?
Everyone gets 1 ticker spot and a few Mins but jeez!

Now don't get me wrong, We got our asses kicked and they deserve to be talked about but Damn! A little overkill no?

The game, The return of one of the most prolific wr's in the NFL, and discussing what appears to be a fantastic start another couple of superbowl rings. That is worth discussion.

This isn't the least bit surprising. They couldn't have started any better, and it makes all the analysts look good since they already pegged the patriots as the next super bowl champions.

...and they'd do the same thing if the Patriots choked for some reason. ESPN is a business.

ESPN is in the business of being the biggest front-running self-promotional font of jackassery in the sports world, bar none. Sportscenter is unwatchable, has been for a while. Not to sound like Mushnick, but the only station I can even keep on for more than 5 minutes is ESPNews, which only shows highlights, not the "infotainment" that passes for sports reporting on the main channel.

--OK...but, if you look at the next two rundown headlines, they are both regarding the same game. The Pats' segment just happens to have a Moss interview. I mean, he did have a pretty big game.

What happened? Mama didn't put your favorite nipple on the bottle this morning?

You obviously missed my last line in the post.

You are so right about that. Between 1999-2001, all they ever talked about was Kurt Warner and the Rams. They talked about them so much that I actually was rooting for the Pats to beat them in the '01 Super Bowl.

I've been regretting it ever since...............

Nothing was worse overkill than the infamous Summer of Terrell Owens (2005).
