Is it just me, or does this sound like this was written by a 5th grader writing one of those "How I Spent My Summer Vacation?" essays? Not that I expect him to be a world class author, but interesting nonetheless... I'm wondering if he wrote a rough draft that was promptly grammerified by his agent...
this sounds just like those "what I did over summer was..." papers. It also wouldn't surprise me if this was grammarified, I don't see a single spelling or grammar mistake, and this is a blog so those don't normally come without any grammatical issues at all...
