ESPN Radio is saying that Greg Buttle and John Clayton are both reporting that they have information saying that Chad did re-injure that shoulder
Even if he didn't re-injure the shoulder, we are going to get this sick feeling every time he gets hit, or everytime he misses a practice, or every time a reporter says he saw Chad wince when he threw a ball on the sidelines... I just have a terrible sense of forboding about these reports. I really pray he isn't hurt again because that would, surely, be it for Chad.
I'm sorry... but in the game thread i called someone vital was going to be injured... and in all honesty... if he is who gives a shit.
you know, at some point, I just say good. I don't want to muddle up our transition to the next phase. I don't want to have to agonize next offseason over what we do with Chad and Kellen, etc. Just let him get hurt so we can move on. Ugh, what a aterrible thing to say. Sorry, Chaddie, love ya, but it's time to move on.
Anyone else not believe it? I've seen so many "ESPN Radio" reports threads and very few have come to fruition, if any.
oh, great prophet, please bestow us with more of your uncanny predictive powers. It is obvious that you knew absolutely that there would be an injury, not simply spouting off the cuff and now want to claim some sort of correlation between your statement and real world occurances. though I am not quite sure why you would waste those powers on a fan forum, you should have a 1-800 number or something and be making some real dough.
The fact that we are even discussing if he is hurt or not, from a hit that most of us posting on this board could LITERALLY absorb, makes it even more obvious that he shouldn't even be considered for the starting QB role... We were in max protect for the duration of 5 yard patterns and he STILL may have gotten hurt... can you imagine what would happen during the entire course of an NFL game with defenders smelling fresh blood in the water? Or will our entire playbook consist of ONE WIDE RECIEVER SETS in order to try and defy the inevitable and keep Chad from getting injured... I understand, people like Chad, he's a good guy, he's a hard worker, etc... SO MAKE HIM A COACH... Asst. QB coach for now or something... he could have a good future with the team in that capacity...
Consider that the "leaked" information about the severety of Chad's "injury" is just what the Mangini camp is looking to use as a strategy. Think about it...the Jets were 4-12 last year right? Pretty dismal record, pretty dismal play. But as Jets fans, we know they are not as bad a team as their previous record and play has shown. SO... Maybe there is a leaked Chad injury report for the same reason he didn't air it out at all that game...for the same reason Chad's injury leak coincides with the horrible leak about Curtis' career ending injury... I would not be surprised if the goal of this was to make media and opposition have some of the same thoughts and reactions that you guys are having...only to try and surprise teams when the season rolls around. Chad is alright, Curtis is alright...but needs a breather...wants to play "this season" my ass. He's gonna be back and better than last year. Can I get a J-E-T-S?!?!?!?!?
