    31?

It is just horrible to think the Jets would be #31.

They were a COMPLETE joke last year due to injuries and so on and weren't #31.

    Who are these people?

Looking at this list, my opinion is

    Overrated: Dolphins, Bengals, Giants

Underrated: Panthers (could be up even higher), Chargers, Browns

Exactly. I thought the Panthers only weakness was they had only one receiver. Now they filled that hole, whats stopping them from running things in the NFC? They're much more Superbowl bound this year than last yr. (Remember last yrs. Sports Illus. issue?)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but were not TWO of the four opening day starters LAST YEAR? Do these guys get paid to write this stuff?

I would correct you, but I have no idea what you are saying. "...were not two of the four opening day starters last year?" huh? that's not even a complete idea, nevertheless a sentence.

I'm not trying to insult you, just trying to figure out what you need clarified. the position is that it isn't a good sign that any 1 of the 4 QB's on the roster have the chance to be the starter, but I am not sure how that relates to the question you asked, because I am not sure of the question you are asking.

The lack of a linebacker outside Dan Morgan might.

i believe he is saying that two of our four quarterbacks were opening day starters last year. the crux of his argument being that if we had two of last year's opening day starters than shouldn't we - at least theoretically - be in a good spot.

on paper, sure. in reality, probably not.

I think barring injury they'd be the clear-cut NFC favorites. Imagine if Kris Jenkins actually stays healthy this year....

Washington is loaded with lots of depth and the best coaching staff in the NFL.

And Dallas fielded a good team last year, then added a good young LB to add to their young defense (Ware, Spears, Williams, etc) as well as perhaps the most talented wide reciever in the game. I know he has character issues, and I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but if anyone will be able to control TO, it would be Parcells. Also, I think TO might finally realize that if he acts up again he may never play in this league again.....

I wouldn't be shocked if the Eagles win the NFC East.

You honestly believe that? The patriots could have 12 monkeys and Belichick and still have the best coaching staff in the NFL.
