With all this ESPN bashing going on with the draft specials and everything I was just wondering where everyone on this site gets all their sports information. Of course, you guys come here and go to the various rumor sites, but what if you want to watch highlights or something like that. All I have seen on here is how much ESPN sucks but from what I can see it is the best form of sports information and coverage on tv.

I don't really watch TV for sports news, unless it is ESPNews (no stupid gimmicks like Berman or lame jokes). I get my news from rotoworld.com, KFFL.com, NewYorkJets.com, check a bunch of newspapers... then, for Mets, I use rotoworld, MetsBlog.com, like 10 other blogs, MetsZone.net, Mets.com... Also, I listen to WFAN like 24/7.

People say ESPN sucks because it tries too hard to be an entertainment show rather than a sports thing. We're all diehard sports fans, so we don't care about any of the glitz and glamour and stuff. We want sports facts and intelligent banter, and a lot of the ESPN guys are there just for a personality or just because of their name, and they don't have much to offer.

If I listen to sports, I usually listen to Mike and the Mad Dog and such. I know that isn't amazing, but they're usually better than ESPN guys, and I can usually form my own opinions more easily. More often, I put ESPNEWS or something on mute and listen to music until sports games are on. Then I watch any game I can for the most part.

ESPN is mostly watered-down anyway. Read about sports, and go to message boards where you can read more informed opinions, and people can get information from sites you wouldn't look for. Less "entertainment", less bullshit, more sports.
