Sidney Rice is going to be released soon and supposedly will be ready in April coming back from his ACL injury he sustained last year. He is 6-4 and is fast. He has ties with Idzik from Seatlle and would be willing to take a one year show me deal that wouldn't break the bank.

Sanders is a reliable wideout that would be a great addition for the Jets. We might want to add him just so New England doesn't since they were very interested last year. He will require a long term deal but shouldn't be too crazy.

If we add Rice for cheap and then sign Sanders we will be patching up holes before the draft. We could still draft a Lee, Cooks Beckam Jr. Or go TE or just BPA. Rice, Sanders Kerley, Nelson Hill . isn't a bad start. Tell me what you guys think.

I feel Sanders is the best option in free agency for us. He's about to enter his prime and has been solid with his health. Rice, I'm not too keen on. This should probably be in the FA tracker cuz it has been discussed to death already.

I think Sanders would be a great addition to this team but in the end will it be worth it considering we have a player just like him in Kerley already on the roster? Unless they have plans on trading Kerley. I feel as if we should focus on using the bulk of the money on outside receivers, tight ends or the back end of the D... Depending on what the approach is to the draft of course...

We need a total overhaul at the WR position so I'm not opposed to Sanders and then draft a few receivers in the draft.

Sanders is the way to go. Rice's production has been shaky since he signed that big a few years back. If the Jets grab Sanders and draft two WR's in the early rounds the whole offense looks different.

Sidney Rice is trash. Besides the year with Brett Favre what can we really say about this guy? I'll wait.

I remember everybody laughing at Belicheck when he drafted not one, but TWO tight ends to go with the TEs they already had. Problem was Belicheck was creating something new the NFL hadn't dealt with before (I'm not talking about a 2 TE set).

So, what if the Jets bring in Sanders and keep Kerley to run a two slot receiver set, one on each side (sorry Cumberland, your out for this play)? Most teams are hard pressed to come up with a 3rd DB to cover the first slot guy, and now they gotta come up with a 4th DB to cover the other slot guy. You can't cover slot guys with a LB, so this would force teams into dime defense every snap. Ivory is all for it!!!!

Since we don't have receivers or TEs anyway it might be fun.

    Rice is ALWAYS hurt

I want nothing to do with him unless it's a contract favorable to the team
