He had a hard time staying off the inactive list last season so he really needs the offseason to get his shit together or he'll find himself back on the PS again probably for the last time.
Really hoping he can improve and be an impact player with a full offseason under his belt. He's got the physical tools, seems like it's mainly a technique issue.
If they'd tried to move Ellis to the PS he would have had to go through waivers and the Jets wouldn't take that chance with a 3rd round pick from the same season.
