So Ellis gets suspended for a game, meanwhile Nick Kazcur of the pats gets no suspension even though he had to wear a wire and cooperate with the DEA. Are you serious Roger Goodell? Ellis had less than 50 grams of pot. And pats fans think that Goodell hates the pats? I mean give me a break.

    Shaun Smith?

Yea, Goodell has been very kind to the Pats for their infractions. Kaczur should have been suspened for a long fucking time. On the other hand, the league probably didn't want to set a precedent for punishing guys for painkiller use, otherwise 1/2 of the league would be "questionable" on the injury reports.

goodell has too much power, he can do whatever the fuck he wants whenever the fuck he wants and nobody can say shit.

he will be the demise of the league.

i dont think this is going to change our plan at de going into the year.

Texans are looking 1-0 having to face a Jets D without Ellis and Pace.

Season opener is at Houston, bud.

The Texans were 8-8 last year and looking to improve.. and we're counting on Gladys Gholston and Mike DeVito to keep the game close for a 1st year starting QB. That's hardly a lock.

Haha thats funny. :) Maybe it was a bad post, but Houston is good and the Jets will be shorthanded.

Nor is the loss. Yea the Texans are improving but I think we should at least wait until the first preseason game before the forecast for the opener becomes:

    DOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!111!!!111!111111!!!!1

    Dude,

Precedent not "president"....made me laugh. Sounds roughly the same, reads totally different. F' the Pats. Hopefully we can get some schemes on the Texans to put some pressure on Schaub. I hate to see him have all day to throw to Andre Johnson....guy is a monster!

Schaub can have all day to throw and he still won't be able to get the ball to Johnson because #24 will shut him down one-on-one.

^this team couldn't cover the TE last year. They have a beast in Daniels.

This match-up tipped in their favor with two of the staples of this defense not in place.

Their offense was 3rd last year, so they are bound to score at least 17 even with this defense that we are expected to have.

The offense, who most likely will be led by a rookie with 16 starts in college in his 1st NFL game ever, on the road.

Not exactly the type of game i'm calling a lock for the Jets. Still winnable? Its the NFL - so yes the Jets can still win.

Well the best things going for this situation is that Its only One Week Suspension thats nothing... and it gives us a chance to look at players that probably would never ever see the field cuz Ellis is playing so hopefully a Star Emerges...
