this is tough. i think its situational. one one hand, romo will eventually shoot himself in the foot. whether its in the late part of a game, or when your team is making a late push to the playoffs. he seems to find a way to fuck up. on the other, is eli. a QB who seems to be different game to game. you never know if you're getting someone who looks like peyton's little brother or someone who looks like kellen clemens little brother. all things considered i think i'm leaning towards Romo. just bc i personally would prefer a QB who isn't a gigantic vag. in the backfield. having said that, when eli isn't being a pussy i think he's much better than romo. its just that is few and far between.
What's the opposite of clutch? That's what Romo is. When the game is on the line, keep the ball as far away from Romo as possible. Think about all the times Romo has lost the game for his team. Someone needs to tell him to stop eating greasy fried chicken before games. That leaves Manning Lite.
i realize that people, including eli, put a lot of emphasis on that SB win. and i'm not going to argue that Eli doesn't have more potential to be a better QB than Romo. i just think that at times he's not. i think Romo is more consistant (even fucking up consistently). For me, Eli looks scared at points in games. i'd rather have someone that is not afraid to be touched. Now someone's gonna morph that into brady/peyton having the same issue.... but lets be honest. those two aren't anywhere near eli.
everyone hates on Romo but I'd honestly take him over eli, he is a better leader, he is a better athlete, and I think he has more of a killer instinct than eli does meaning that I don't think eli makes that long pass to whiten or hits Dez in the end zone on the opening drive. with that said romo chokes more than eli but its a risk id be willing to take.
