Just wanted to know if any one currently owns one. I have been waiting for over 2 years for the prices to level out but thanks to the asinine tarifs the prices have gone up (Doesn't take a genius). The Ryobi 75Ah W/bagging kit was @ $2500 when On sale. Now, it's $3160. Ego just release an awesome Zero Turn but it's $5k and has NO attachments available. The Cub Cadet $2800/ is nice but some of the decisions they made are head scratchers. (Only American Made) Each one has it's pros and cons but and there are a few other models and companies but after reading and researching all these years these 3 are on my top list. I'm tired of Mowing every year w/my gas push mower. lol
I only had Craftsman riding mowers, I had a little over 3.5 acres, and they did well by me. The first one I actually trashed myself by using it to clear brush, I had gotten an estimate of $5000 to bush hog so I figured even if I beat up my mower it's still less than half the price of bush hogging. I beat the hell out of that machine and it kept on cutting grass for another 2 years. Definitely not normal use so it made me really like the quality of Craftsman mowers.
Like with anything trendy the prices are going to stay high and more importantly the cost of replacement batteries is staggering. I switched from a gas powered string trimmer and hedge trimmer to battery. Still have my John Deere riding mower with Kawasaki gas engine. There are some commercial accounts that have them but they can always pass the cost on to the customer. Honestly I still enjoy the hum of the gas engine while cutting my grass. Let us know how you make out when you transition to battery.
RT Go with EGO. They have come a long way. Not saying other brands are bad but my experience with EGO has been spectecular. 3 years in, no issues, whatsoever. And I have a cheap version that was $600 or something. If you have a huge yard maybe spend extra but if not, lower EGO models also do a very good job.
My dad has had the same craftsman riding mower for like 20 years now.... probably going to be hard to get parts soon
I would definitely buy another Craftsman if I ever have grass again but I hope I never do. I couldn't believe it held up so well with the way I beat the hell out of it. Have the one I replaced it with still sitting over at the house I'm selling, been sitting for 2 years but I'm sure throw some gas in it, charge the battery and be mowing the grass straight away.
always sucks when typos ruin a good joke, but that was a really lame, unoriginal "attempt" at a joke...or witticism.....or whatever it was you were attempting to say, sooooooooooooooo..........this trio of sad faces is for you ...on a related note, u DID leave urself a trail of bread crumbs so you could find your way back to JetNation right?
