The Jets average margin of defeat in their seven losses has been around 7 points, with only the second New England game going above 2 scores. There's no reason to expect a blowout; I'd say Chargers -7.5 sounds about right.
Just got through looking at the regular season records of both the Jets and Chargers Opponents. Chargers opponents combined record was 116-140 a winning percentage of 453%. The Jets opponents had a combined record of 132-124 a winning percentage of 526%. The 3 teams that beat the Chargers (Ravens, Steeler's and Bronco's) all run a 3-4 defense. They ended the season on a huge confidence building winning steak, they did beat Dallas, Eagles and Bungles, the Giants, Bronco's and Titans were 500 teams and the other 5 teams were well below 500. Have of there wins were vs the basement dwellers of the league. They did take care of business when they should have, but I like our chances.:jets:
