Im really impressed with the FO. They are doing there homework, they are staying organized and they are prepared for everything. Even though I liked TB, I have now seen what a good FO is suppose to do and the previous regime did not do this. Keep it up boys. This is what makes a winning organization.

you lost all credibility with your post but praising Boobway--his personnel moves set us back years compared to other REAL general managers.

At least they will be prepared to make a pick. I wonder who the Jets would draft if the top three went:

    1. Texans: Bush
    2. Saints: Mario Williams
    3. Titans: D'Brick

If the draft were to play out like that the value of that pick would take a huge hit. Unless a team has one of the three qbs on their wish list.

I think that between Young and Leinart someone would be willing to move up, they both carry a high grade and are better than the QBs last year, I know that doesnt say much but they still could warrant some consideration, I see Young and Lienart having more trade up value than D'Brick, although he maybe is a supperior player

You raise an interesting scenario--do you think Tennessee will pass on a QB? I can't believe they wouldn't take a QB. You probably would know better though, being from there.

We'd take Leinart in that situation, no questions asked.

Whoa. I am not from here. I just live here. Moved about 6 months ago from NYC. The talk around here is that they are looking at either Young or Leinart but, as we all know, they each have question marks. They might be in the running for an OT because Brad Hopkins is not a young guy. And maybe they draft M. Williams and line him up opposite Vanden Bosch. Or they could use some help at MLB and take Hawk. I guess the point is that we have no clue, But I do know I will be at the season opener fully loaded and ready to go.

If that scenario went down, we would be fighting offers off with a stick. A stick with spikes in it. Pointy spikes.

    You're joking right?

All that homework, and make a reach?

    Simple for selection...

    If Bush available
    Select Bush
    ElseIf Leinart Available
    Select Leinart
    Elseif Ferguson or Williams availableAvailable
    Explore Trade Down
If not tradedown then Select Ferguson
    End if

and why select Ferg over Williams? yeah we have no lineman, but is this team going anywhere. what DE's will be here in 2008? yeah I might be wrong its all about the BPA but, Williams I think, we have rated higher than Ferg(yes it means nothing(only FO rankings mean more). Player A is rated higher than player B)

Agree, that would make #4 very valuable to Detroit, SF, Minn,....for a possible tradedown........
