All these injuries are happening in training camp, yet Goodell still wants to go for the 18 game season. Unreal.
I'm not going to harp on another team's injuries. Injuries flat out suck, and I wouldn't want them on my team either. As far as the 18 week season goes, I would be alright with it so long as they bump up rosters or introduce a baseball-like Disabled List.
it's not as much as the injury that i'm harping on......but wanting to see Josh McDaniels fail...after he stripped the Broncos of all their offensive weapons.
Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler are complete douche bags though. I have no problem with what McDaniels is doing - he certainly gambled big time with the Tebow selection, but he's definitely drafted a lot of potentially talented players. Knowshon Moreno, Baybay Thomas, Zane Beadles, JD Walton, and Eric Decker have the ability to be solid players in this league. If the Tebow move doesn't work out, he's done in Denver and he knows it - I respect him for believing in his coaching abilities THAT much.
The mother fucking Raiders' playoff chances just got a lot better too. Hopefully they pull off a miracle and New England ends up with a late first rounder.
The league will have to make some changes to rosters if there is a move to an 18-game regular season. The league can get rid of the silly 3rd QB rule. I'd like to see 55-man rosters through the Thanksgiving weekend. Then roster size should be increased some for the final month-plus of the regular season like how MLB does it in September. At least let the practice squad players dress and play in games late in the year.
I could care less if they load up on players. I don't want them to get a top tier wideout like AJ Green, Julio Jones, or Mike Floyd - the only way they'll do that is with a top ten pick. Oakland just needs to win 8 or 9 games and our division should be rooting for that. Belichick's done a hell of a job trading back and acquiring a lot of picks, but those players really haven't worked out for them.
These injuries would happen with 16 games or 18 games. What point is there in whining about something that dosen't effect what happened?

Tough break for the Broncos... makes week 6 a little easier for us though. See what happens when teams dole out those giant guarantees for injury??? Thanks Brick
now ED's backup Jarvis Moss will be out a couple weeks with some injury. I can't find a link but i saw it on nfl network earlier today. They signed Lendale White too, but I think he also hurt his hand in practice
Another one bites the dust... "Patriots OL Kaczur suffers serious back injury at camp" http://www.nfl.com/trainingcamp/sto...rious-back-injury-at-camp?module=HP_headlines Makes Logan Manboobs' position interesting. /thread hijack
Like the Jets knocking off Campbell and crew 45-9 in the AFC championship game? 29th overall pick to the Pats.
