I hope he's out for the rest of the season, because Dyson is so damn BAD. He's always about 8 yards off a receiver and can't keep up with them when they cut. I hope our 1st round pick is a corner back.

I do not want to see any player get hurt, for any reason. IMO we need aWIDEBODY at NT before we need a CB!

He's been a very good pickup and been very good at Corner. Pretty much a bright spot this past offseason.

to everything you said, you're wrong. First of all, you hope that a player is injured for the season. He's not always 8 yards off a receiver unless its a zone where he's supposed to be there. If he's playing man, why the hell would he be 8 yards away from the receiver?

And when you blitz like the Jets have, your CB is usually going to be on an island. And do you want him bumping the receiver at the line and let the WR break off and get behind Dyson?

And i'll speak for RT on this one, if a corner is playing 8 yards off, that is from the sidelines, not the player.

You're right. I didn't mean to say I wish Dyson gets hurt, came out that way in my post, but didn't mean it that way, would never want a player to get hurt.

Second, there are a whole bunch of completions to his side of the field. When a receiver makes his cut, he doesn't have the speed to close and break up the pass. He got a couple of interceptions early in the year, but he has not looked good at all since...

Teams are going to get completions. The Jets often leave Dyson in one on one man coverage and give help to the other side of the field with a safety, and then blitz Rhodes. The Bears had what? 30 passing yards in the first half. Dyson is a good cover corner, and even better at jumping routes, only he can't take chances because he's all alone in coverage.

Drew Coleman took a chance and thought he could make a piss poor tackle attempt and it ended in a touchdown.

What?! Dyson has been such a solid pickup in my opinion. Teams never pick on him. He's been very good in my opinion..... Maybe if we had any passrush it wouldn't SEEM like he can't keep up with recievers (even though he can and has been able to most of the time).

Nothing wrong with Dyson, I hope he's okay.

First off hopefully he is ok but my feelings on Dyson are the same as Davi Barrett, the dayu they are no longer playing in Green and White I'll be happy.
