I haven't heard anything about him in a long time, it can be good or bad that we haven't heard his name in any of the reports.

Does anyone know how he's been doing? He is one of my favorites to emerge and play like I know he can this season. Despite a few plays last year I was overall impressed with the 4th round rookies talent and I'd like him to earn the 3rd CB spot this year.

yeah he is one of my favorites too. mangini was a total dick to him. he was a 4th round pick who came in and started for us right off the bat and like you said other then a few plays did a pretty good job. it cant be easy playing next to revis since all the balls are going to be thrown your way.

i have a feeling when things got rough for him instead of giving him support and thing like that mangini and suton were probably putting so much pressure on him it got him crazy.

I think he had a couple of plays and Ryan even mentioned him doing well in camp once, but maybe he's having a quiet camp this year. Some guys just don't get the write ups in OTAs but are still doing well.

We may hear more about him in July. Plenty of TC awaits.

he was probably singled out during halftime and sent to the "principals office" in the middle of the week.

I think he has a ton of talent. I would expect him to co tri ute as our nickel back but also at safety

I never thought he was very impressive. I hope he can become a solid nickel back some day. I did notice his new number 21 mentioned a handful of times in Petro's tweets from OTA.

He's a solid corner who will be better in his sophomore season. He will be a playing mostly Nickel this season but i think he will flourish.

lol at people saying mangini was a dick to him.. comeon, the guy was a 4th rounder and Mangini atarted him from day 1.. If anything Mangini liked the guy to much since Lowery got abused in some games that he had to be pulled midway through games

I'd like to see him at Safety. He is too slow to start IMO.

yeah i agree, im sure he did like him at first but when things got rough it seems like mangini just gave up on him. i understand pulling him from the starting lineup. it was probably the right thing to do but it seemed like he just pushed him to the side.

that was MAngini's problem. Instead of letting payers play through mistakes, make up fo rthem, grow from them, Mangini buried them on the bench and tried something different, which usually didn't work because a) it was being done by a backup with less talent or b) it was a different scheme that no one was as comfortable with.

I think he is a very similar player to Lito Sheppard (as far as what his strong points are). Hopefully he'll be able to learn from him while being teammates... this year I se him as the 3CB and 2 Nickel Back... let's see...

I wonder why he changed his number from 34 to 21?? I know Gholston changed his number as well (56 to 50) Hopefully they both step it up under Ryan's Defence

I will say that Lowery looked the part of a big time CB when I saw him at minicamp last week. He has the height and the size to be very good in this league. How that translates onto the field this year we'll see.

They did a thing and interview with him on Jets Nation last week (Tivo this)- He wanted a new number cuz it's a whole new and improved year for him to start over....

Of course he says he's worlds ahead of last year, which he should be -And Rex is playing him at Safety as well.... I forget the particulars but, all was good - He's working his tail off and the staff loves him... Was really thrown into the fire last year and in the end that will probably be great....

Kid sounds great in an interview - A Gym rat, a workaholic...

He's still a ballhawk and it seems like he'l be put in position to take advantage of the aggressive Defensive front and get some picks.
