    Isn't it obvious? He's a young athlete, he's not going to give up hope that he can start in this league until he's given a fair chance. The money is a pretty sweet consolation prize though, no doubt.

    How is he pocketing 500k with each trade? Jets gave him a signing bonus of 500k and thats the only reason he got that extra cash. His contract will still be the same as the one Jets offered unless he gets released and signs a new contract elsewhere.
