I know Brady is known as the GOAT because of all the championships but I think Brees is just as good. Since he doesn't have the championship resume that will hurt him when compared to #12 but he really does everything just as well at the QB position as Brady.
He's better than Brady. He has the records without cheating and with bearly any help. This year Thomas is blowing up but Brees is the better QB.
People say Brady is the GOAT. But when push comes to shove nobody really believes it game play wise. Say if someone had to assemble the best team of all time to play someone else's best team of all time, and the loser gets killed, how many would actually choose Tom Brady to be their QB?
Put him in the AFC East and lets see how great he is playing in the Meadowlands, Buffalo and NE 10 games every year. He plays 8 home games in a dome. Atlanta in a dome and Tampa Bay and Carolina usually under perfect weather conditions. That said he's incredibly good. He's Chad Pennington with a healthy shoulder.

Pennington when healthy played two games in the dome in Indy. 142 and a 158.3 QBR. This year in NO Watson had a 114.3, Winston a 104.6, Kyle Allen 112.7 and Garrapolo put up a 131.7 QBR. It's one of the fastest tracks and best places for putting up QB stats in the NFL. Perfect conditions to run routes and throw in. I think he's an incredible QB but his stats are padded against guys like Brady. Payton Mannings stats were highly padded playing indoors. He's real good out of the dome but not as good. It's not a knock on the guy but if he played in KC he would be a very good QB not remotely in the argument as the goat. Great playoff QB 8 and 7 in 15 games with a 100 QBR. At Philadelphia 75.7, at Seattle 86.3, at SF 93.5, at Seattle 95.4, at Chicago 83.2.
You have absolutely no clue. Brees would dominate the afc east i completely disagree. He has put up the same gaudy numbers playing out of the dome. It may be better in tgere vut he is way better than Brady.
Bress isn't remotely as good as Brady over his career. It's not close. He's certainly better now. Brady plays in one of the worst weather stadiums in the league and plays most of his games outside. His career stats are at least as good as Brees. He destroys him in playoff wins. He's a three time all pro. Brees has been all pro once. I'm not saying Brees isn't great, he is. He would not be putting up the same numbers playing in NE 8 games and Buffalo and NYC twice every year. In playoff games against really good comp, his home numbers vs. his outdoor numbers aren't remotely close. In no way am I implying he isn't great. He's numbers would not be as good outside. Rodgers has two dome teams in his division now but he still puts up numbers in 8 games in Green Bay and 1 in Chicago every year. Matt Ryan has 10 dome playoff games and a playoff QBR of 100.8. On the road in NY 71.1 against Philadelphia on the road 86.6. For my money when you look at what Brady has done in NE and what Montana did in Candelstick, one of the worst fields and wind tunnels in the league you really can't put Brees or Payton against them. It's too big an advantage in a precision passing game. Montana and Brady are head and shoulders better than Brees or Payton.

He has 9 Post season fourth quarter comebacks and 13 post season game-winning drives. Brees has 2 fourth quarter playoff comebacks and 3 post season game winning drives. Brady 30 playoff games Brees 15. Brady 20 playoff wins, Brees 8. Brady was simply scary good with the game on the line against the best teams in football.
Fact is the NFL should give itself the MVP for every season the patriots have one. They ignore cheating by Belicheat and even make call in favor of the team. Bradt is horrible on any other team. He wasn't remotely the best last year this year or the year before or the one before that. He's been in a group of elite QB's but never has been the top guy. Last year Mahomes was so much better than the pack it's laughable. This year Lamar. The most consistently good QB has been Wilson. It's amazing how overlooked he is.
